OP360 Amplifies Cebu’s Greening Efforts Through Native Tree Planting

OP360 in partnership with CCENRO, recently led a tree-planting activity with its employees in Cebu.

CEBU CITY, PH (July 4, 2024) — Leading global BPO company OP360 (OfficePartners360), in partnership with the Cebu City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CCENRO), recently led a tree-planting activity with its employees in Cebu, Philippines, adding 200 native native tree seedlings in the urban center as part of the local government’s ongoing greening efforts.

The tree planting, held June 29, brought together over 75 OP360 employees from various departments, who planted the native tree seedlings along the center island of Cebu South Road Properties. The timely initiative is also meant to help the province face water shortage issues affecting communities.

“As a company with a wide footprint in Cebu, we recognize our responsibility to contribute to sustainability efforts for our local community,” said David Highbloom, Chief Administrative Officer at OP360. “We’re hopeful that these native trees will serve the dual purpose of beautifying and improving the region’s water situation.”

To further show its support to the community, OP360 donated the gardening gloves and hand shovels used during the activity to CCENRO. The company plans to continue their partnership through similar future activities, as part of its broader corporate social responsibility program focusing on community development.
